Curlews back on their breeding grounds

The weather is definitely getting milder and the days are getting longer enticing curlew and lapwing to begin returning to their upland breeding grounds. I have a location this year that I am hoping is going to serve me well for these species and with a bit of luck, breeding wheatear. Heading back up there today for another recce and maybe some landscapes if the weather holds. Here’s one from the other day.
