I cobbled together this montage of spring wild flowers taken at the same reserve as the herb paris in the previous post. Here we have early purple orhid, yellow archangel, golidlocks buttercups and bluebells. Again, the overcast light has really helped with the colour saturation.
After a heavy load of snow, we finally had some blue skies to match so I was quickly out to get some winter landscapes for a commission by the local council for their 2013 brochure work. Here are a couple taken at Newmillerdam country park in Wakefield.
I really enjoy photographing the purple sandpipers along the Yorkshire coast in the late autumn and winter; such beautiful and confiding birds. This one was photographed at Bridlington harbour.
