Gannets on Bass Rock and Puffins on the Farnes

Just got back from a couple of days on the Farnes and a trip round the Bass Rock to photograph gannets diving into the sea. Got some images I’m really pleased with and will have on the blog in a few days. Here’s a taster of what’s to come……………

I loved this shot of a juvenile starling with the fisherman in the background painting his boat. I could have done some amazing images here if Nikon would only understand there IS a requirement for a flip-out screen on their flagship DSLRs!!!
